Back On Track

I finally got my dad's old computer all set up and ready to go so I feel good about things again. I also don't have homework this weekend other than a lab report so I can really relax and enjoy my cruise to Tallin, Estonia. I feel bad that I'm missing Zaneta's birthday and the reccegasque (new student dinner party) but I think Estonia will be so much fun! Hopefully the weather stays nice (only a little snow in the morning and cloudy according to weather.com). Speaking travel, I've also worked out how to get to San Sesbastian next weekend to visit Heather. I can't wait!

Pictures from Stockholm are uploaded now- Estonia will have to wait or maybe I'll just buy Flickr pro...

I also started my basic Swedish class on Wednesday. It meets 2 nights a week from 6-8. I think it will be fun and useful, at least so I feel less stupid even though everyone here speaks English. I just hope that the couple of days I have class until 5 beforehand aren't too bad and that my other class doesn't conflict too much also. It's not that big of a deal since I'm only taking it pass/fail, but I'd rather not have to worry about it. Everyone in my class was laughing so much because of the weird sounds we have to make to speak Swedish- we were pinching and pulling our mouths to get it right. I feel bad for the Korean, Bangladeshi, Indian, and Greek kids in my class because it's even harder for them than it is for me. Especially since the teacher speaks in Swedish 80% of the time in class.

I'll leave you with a YouTube clip of the chaging of the guard at the Royal Palace.
