Things Looking Up

I'm starting to feel good about life here. Although I have to do a lot of homework and a lab report this weekend and I've been limping around all week because my ankle hurts, I'm having fun. I got a letter today :) and will get my package tomorrow now that I've figured out that the message in Swedish is a reminder to get more minutes on my phone. I need to go to the grocery store anyways. Plus I got a bike today from a Swedish guy. It's a 3-speed military bike with a pedal generator for the lights. I just have to get used to riding a men's bike and using the pedals to brake.

Last night was a lot of fun. The international students were supposed to go on a pub crawl to see all of the nations (each nation has a pub), but my group of friends just decided to stay at Upplands nation and get food. I also tried a pear-based cider called Nik's and it's much tastier than Swedish beer. Since we left the big group behind we were able to just hang-out and have fun.

Tonight I'm going to Kalmar nation again because there is a Swedish food buffet. I'm also going to register for Kalmar nation. You're required to sign-up for one of the nations in order to officially be a student here.
